And the slivers of paper cry, "desecration" as they flutter to the ground. Snowfalls of emotions, thoughts, captured in loops and swirls, pile to drifts. One piece upon another in stacks of forsaken ideas, precious commodities of an author's soul, scattered, abandoned on the wasteland that was once inspiration.
